Druwitt helps communities build stronger futures by investing in children, youth, families, and the systems that support them.
Founded by Kathryn (Katie) Manning-Druwitt in 2024, Druwitt was built from more than 20 years of experience working alongside children, youth, families, nonprofits, schools, governments, and communities across British Columbia and the western United States.
What began through volunteering and frontline child and youth work evolved into a passion for prevention, community development, facilitation, organizational capacity, and systems change. Today, Druwitt partners with organizations and communities to strengthen the relationships, infrastructure, and leadership needed to create lasting impact.
For generations, communities understood a simple truth: it takes a village to raise a child.
Strong communities create the conditions that help children and youth thrive through trusted relationships, belonging, participation, safety, opportunity, and connection.
As our communities have become busier, more disconnected, and increasingly stretched, many of the natural supports that once surrounded children and families have become harder to find.
Druwitt exists to help rebuild the village.
Through community engagement, organizational development, capacity building, facilitation, research, and systems change, we work alongside communities to strengthen the foundations that help children, youth, and families thrive.
We believe lasting change happens when communities have the tools, knowledge, relationships, and confidence to care for one another.
Practical, engaging training that helps organizations strengthen knowledge, confidence, and everyday practice. Topics include ACEs, trauma-informed care, child and youth development, protective factors, online safety, workforce wellness, and community safety.
Designing and facilitating meaningful conversations that bring people together, strengthen partnerships, and turn ideas into action.
Working with organizations, governments, and community partners on research, policy, strategic planning, partnership development, community readiness, and long-term systems improvement.
We are developing The Archer Project, a prevention-focused initiative dedicated to strengthening belonging, trusted adults, community capacity, and opportunities for children and youth, particularly in rural and underserved communities.
Alongside this work, with our partners, we are exploring the development of the D.R.U.W.I.T.T. Organizational Readiness Framework, a practical assessment designed to help organizations better align their intentions, values, and mission with the infrastructure needed to create sustainable impact.
We're excited to share more as these initiatives continue to grow.
Whether you're looking for training, facilitation, or fractional support in strategic planning, community engagement, or systems change, we'd love to connect.
